What is the Global Investor Program?
What’s this program? It’s a way for investors. You can move to Singapore and become permanent residents by supporting local businesses.
How can you invest?
- Start or expand a business with at least SGD 2.5 million.
- Or, invest the same amount in a fund helping Singapore companies.
Who’s it for?
- Business folks with a good track record for 3 years.
- Your business should have made at least SGD 50 million lately and kept that average over 3 years.
Bringing your family?
- Your spouse and kids (younger than 21) can join you.
- Boys will have to join the military for some time.
- Parents and unmarried kids above 21 can stay longer with a special 5-year pass.
After becoming a permanent resident?
- You get a pass (REP) to travel in and out of Singapore for 5 years without worries.
- To keep this after 5 years, start a business hiring at least 5 locals and spend SGD 1 million each year. Also, stay in Singapore for most of the time.
