GST InvoiceNow Transition Grant (S$1,000): What Singapore Businesses Need to Know

Claim Up to S$1,000 with the GST InvoiceNow Transition Grant

To encourage digital invoicing adoption among small and medium-sized businesses, Singapore’s government has introduced the GST InvoiceNow Transition Grant, offering a one-time cash payout of S$1,000 to eligible GST-registered businesses.

The grant is designed to help businesses offset the costs of adopting InvoiceNow-compatible solutions and prepare for upcoming GST InvoiceNow requirements.

What is the GST InvoiceNow Transition Grant?

The GST InvoiceNow Transition Grant provides financial support to qualifying GST-registered businesses that implement InvoiceNow through an approved solution provider or accredited access point.

Eligible businesses can receive a S$1,000 cash grant after successfully activating GST InvoiceNow and submitting invoice data to the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) before their applicable compliance deadline.

The grant will be available from 1 July 2026 to 31 March 2030, or until available funding has been fully disbursed.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the GST InvoiceNow Transition Grant, businesses must meet the following criteria:

  1. GST Registration Status

The applicant must be a GST-registered business operating in Singapore.

  1. Annual Revenue Threshold

Total annual supplies must not exceed S$4 million, based on all prescribed accounting periods ending within calendar year 2025.

  1. New InvoiceNow Adoption

Businesses currently using an InvoiceNow-Ready Solution Provider (IRSP) or already connected to InvoiceNow are not eligible.

Additionally, the business must not have used any IRSP solution during the three months immediately preceding the onboarding of the new InvoiceNow solution.

  1. Approved InvoiceNow Solution

The business must either:

  • Subscribe to an IMDA-accredited InvoiceNow-Ready Solution Provider (with a minimum 12-month paid subscription), or
  • Connect its ERP or accounting system through an IMDA-accredited Access Point Provider.

The onboarding or integration must occur after 26 February 2026.

  1. GST InvoiceNow Activation

The business must activate GST InvoiceNow and successfully submit invoice information to IRAS before its designated implementation deadline.

How to Apply

The application process is straightforward:

  1. Subscribe to an eligible InvoiceNow-ready solution or connect through an accredited access point.
  2. Activate GST InvoiceNow functionality.
  3. Submit invoice data to IRAS as required.
  4. Complete the grant application through the official submission portal when it opens on 1 July 2026.
  5. Receive the S$1,000 payout via PayNow Corporate once eligibility has been verified.
